9 Things That Fluffy is Thankful For

Thanksgiving is just around the corner. Many of us are looking forward to relaxing with our loved ones over a delicious meal. That yummy food is great, but it’s important to remember the meaning of the autumn holiday: gratitude. Cats are definitely something to be thankful for! They’re also quite appreciative of certain things themselves. Read on as a local Columbia, MD vet lists some things your feline pal may actually be grateful for.

Beds

Cats certainly love their beauty rest. Fluffy can sleep up to 20 hours a day! It’s no wonder that beds make the list.

Clean Litterbox

Fluffy likes her purrsonal powder room kept nice and clean, and we can’t blame her: no one likes a dirty bathroom!

Treats

If there’s one thing many of our furry buddies have in common, it’s a love of snacks. Tuna and chicken may top your fuzzy little friend’s list of favorite things ever.

Sunbeams

Fluffy actually runs on cat food, instead of solar power, but you wouldn’t know that by watching her. Kitties just can’t resist the chance to soak up some sun!

Boxes

Fluffy’s box obsession is one of her most adorable quirks. (It’s also one of her more perplexing ones, but that’s another topic.) We’re pretty sure that boxes would make your furry pal’s list.

Cuddles

Kitties can be quite temperamental at times, but at the end of the day, many of our feline patients love to snuggle up with their owners. Fluffy often starts her motor as soon as someone pets her or picks her up.

Catnip

One thing we love about cats is the fact that they are so entertaining. Fluffy is never more hilarious than when she is enjoying the effects of her favorite plant!

Windows

Sunbathing and birdwatching are two of Fluffy’s favorite activities. A comfy window seat may be one of the finer things in life, as far as your four-legged friend is concerned.

Toys!

Fun toys are definitely on the list of things that cats are grateful for. Fluffy doesn’t have expensive taste in this area: she’ll be just as thrilled with a catnip mouse as she would with a fancy electronic toy. Make sure your pet always has plenty of fun toys to push under the couch.

Happy Thanksgiving! Please reach out to us, your Columbia, MD vet clinic, anytime. We’re here to help!
